I'm not discussing your personal wealth. I am pointing out that you are crying about others being wealthy enough to vacuum up the tickets ahead of you.

I look forward to nye's exciting conclusion tomorrow. He presents an amazing argument that hockey is in trouble in Calgary, apparently. Somebody better tell the 19,281 people that sell out every hockey game in that building, and quick. We know how jealous Flames fans are of the Blue Jackets.

            Note the 2004
            Calgary average attendance: 16,600.

Enjoy Iggy and Kipper, and the Flames, while you have them.

Incidently, 16,838 is the official number of seats at Rexall for a hockey game. That does not count standing room. Average 16,832 with a couple of blizzards factored in is not bad.

            • I'm curious to see how good he will be until the end of the seasons.

I wish he is not just on a lucky strike! Anyway, when Higgins will return, he will be interesting to see what will happen.

              • I have a feeling Kostitsyn wont stay on the 2nd line when Higgins comes back.

And Ryder needs to produce again before Lats loses his spot.

                  • Giguere let in 5 goals on 11 shots -- an amazing feat that totally negated kipper's shutout and then some on my other Yahoo team.

Dude, it ain't got nothing to do with being friendly. It's all about demand far exceeding supply. And as a fan, I wish there weren't so many people cheering for the Leafs. I wish the Leafs had a cheap fan base like the Flames so that tickets were cheaper cause not that many people want to see the game.

But for the Leafs, you got to know someone who knows someone who can get ridiculously expensive tickets.

But the only solution is to create a really crappy team like the Flames. Well actually, even if the Leafs were as boring as the Flames, people would still want to go to the ACC cause the Leafs have tradition. The Leafs are part of Canadian culture, just like the Canadiens.

So a nine game streak against teams like that is impressive, but not very impressive,

Meanwhile, the Wings are last in PP scoring percentage and 23rd on PP killing.

So ranking 10th is about right.

Somebody ought to let you know that Calgary is a very very wealthy city -- much more so than Toronto.

Calgary's a bottom feeder? Calgary's sitting in a playoff spot.

                                Yeah, should be higher.

They're still winning even though their no.1 goalie and francise player are injured. They're no.2 in the league for goals per game. Well above average on PP killing and scoring. And 7-3 in their last 10 games. Top 10 for wins and winning average. And better than the Habs cause the Leafs have cooked them this season.

Easily top three in the east.
