USC has been looking good lately. I mean they just stepped on the ducks. I think we're heading for an OSU - Mich rematch though. The numbers are just so different. Michigan is #1 in the computer polls with OSU #2 at the moment. Oh well.

edit: Double-post, so I'll use this opportunity to say that UVA downed #10 Arizona in their new arena, and I will go on to say that I think UVA at least makes the tournament this year. A good win for the undefeated ACC (so far)! =)

Listen, Ero, if USC can beat Cal and ND, they deserve to play for the national championship. Florida has not looked dominating in just about any of their wins, Arkansas lost to USC, Rutgers won't have the pollster votes, and West Virginia hasn't played as tough a schedule as USC.

I just think that USC may lose to Cal and/or ND.

If USC, wins out... I can see this:

National Championship Game: Ohio State (#1, Big Ten Champ) vs. Southern California (#2, Pac-10 Champ)
Rose Bowl: Notre Dame (at large) vs. Florida (at large)*
Fiesta Bowl - Texas (Big 12 Champ) vs. Boise State (at large)
Orange Bowl - Wake Forest (ACC Champ) vs. West Virginia (Big East)
Sugar Bowl - Arkansas (SEC Champ) vs. Michigan (at large)*

(Assumption is that the conferences and ND will not allow Michigan and ND to play again in a bowl as they have already played in the regular season)

Remember that the Rose Bowl has Pac-10 and Big 10 tie ins, Fiesta Bowl has the Big 12 tie in, Orange Bowl has the ACC tie in, and the Sugar Bowl has the SEC tie in. And the order for schools picking at large & Big East this year goes Sugar, Orange, Fiesta. Before at large & Big East picks, the bowls that lost auto tie ins get to pick replacements, of course, but after the selection the conferences and ND can get together to make changes based on if the teams played each other in last year's bowl, or if they played in the regular season, or what would make more money .
