  • Well then that woman is a moron who obviously can't think things through a little harder, changing her mind on a whim when doing that on a whim is against her best interests.

    • According to you pretty much anyone who votes Republican is a moron, which makes your judgement in this sort of thing worthless.

I wasn't supporting the logic of her thinking. I was pointing out that in extremely closes races, which many of them are, Kerry's comment could easily impact the outcome.

Sorry, but how ****ed up do voters have to be that a dumb comment may outweigh the political and moral failure of the Republicans in the past year. And how ****ed up are your media to blow this hot air up and make it appear a serious election topic?
Not even in Austria something that pathetic would be taken up.

Some of us Bush supporters have been saying, for three years now, that Dems are contemptuous of the soldiers over in Iraq and their families at home and the cause for which they risk their lives. Dems just want to play the political leverage of blood and death.

Kerry's words and attitude go a long way to convincing the naive who keep wanting to give the Dems the "benefit of doubt" that they shouldn't give Dems the benefit of their vote.

I have never maintained that. I respect the old school, pre-neoconservative Republicans and wish they'd come back. I've voted Republican before (like yesterday for early voting) where appropriate, but disagree with them as a whole. Bush and his keepers have completely ****ed up the party. Congress isn't the only House that needs to be cleaned...

I'm willing to bet that if one showed up you'd consider him an idiot too.

                    • Many or most of the conservatives on this board aren't neoconservatives anyway.

At this point, it's getting rather obvious that this indeed is the case, whether they consider themselves "conservative" or "liberal".

I think you have a reading comprehension problem.

My posts were on the point that what Kerry says is less important (by far) than what others were saying.

To repeat - I don't care what Kerry says.

                          You must be a Republican.

                          • Yep being a republican is a sad thing this morning.
(I do live near chicago so I do vote for a handful of democrats)

I guess most people didn't care what Kerry said, Damn.

Well at least the Dems will have to come up with some other plan for 2008. Any plan at all would be appreciated.

I daresay Kerry taking himself out of the 2008 race is GOOD for Dems.

                                Probably.

I hope they don't make the same mistake as last time out. They need to nominate an electable candidate for a change.

All the talk I hear is Hillary. Yikes.
