Obviously the best part of your national gene pool sailed for the colonies a few centuries ago.

Wait, you've seen Bush and Blair next to each other and you still claim you can pick a leader better? As many US journalists have said, Tony Blair's sole role in the special relationship is to make Bush look even dumber. His speech to Congress did kind of show the difference between the two quite well.

Not that I'm defending Mobius at all, but when it comes to leaders, I know which one I'd rather have.

And I think most of our guesses will turn out to have been uninformed.

                    • Not exactly related but the morons on the news are calling Asa and Beebe a "neck and neck" race when the polls are Beebe 51% to Asa 42%. When he was under by more than 20 points a couple weeks ago, the Repugs realized how badly they needed to at least make it look close, so they got Mike Huckabee to publicly endorse him on commercials (there goes my support for him in 08) and they flew Bush in to Little Rock.

Personally, I have not met a single soul, liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican, young or old, foolish enough to support Asa. Everyone agrees he's just a nut.

But hey the news ratings are higher if they hawk it as a "close race"...
