I had the impression that Sharon A's rendezvous with the resistance was near to the killing field. But I don't think that cylons would be distracted by gunfire from that area. If it's not an immediate threat to them, then they would carry out the executions (assuming that's what their task is).

Baltar can't be Cylon. That would make him much less interesting as a character - he's such a great character because he's a human.

Also, it just wouldn't make sense. If he were a Cylon, why would the Cylons send another Cylon to seduce Baltar and get access to the defense mainframe? If he were a Cylon, then why would the Cylon Occupation Authority treat him like a human?

Yeah, better to just download (or whatever) a new program into him (maybe get him seduced orginally in order to do so). No need for him to inwardly struggle with what he's doing. No need to put a gun to his head when there are no other humans in sight.

Been very busy lately but finally got around to watching the opening episodes. As expected, they rocked Probably rival 33 as best season opener and especially the first one was one of the best eps to date.

I didn't get into BSG until about a month ago; I downloaded the "The Story So Far..." video from iTunes (a recap of the past 2 seasons, to get people interested in season 3). I liked it enough that I acquired the first two seasons, and spent every waking moment watching them

I finished season 2 a little late, so I just watched the first episode of season 3. Wow. I share the concerns some have as to how they will work out getting tens of thousands of people off New Caprica, but I'm confident they've got it.

That being said, I just found out that Lucy Lawless AKA Xena plays the Cylon/Journalist (is it Number 3?) I didn't recognize her with (modest) clothes on.
