He did get interviewed by espn (no video, just a second hand report)... The spin is on. He is using the old, I didn't know what I was saying to the police "story" and that he was confused... but that it wasn't a suicide attempt... When asked about the number of pills (35 as suggested by the AP story) the questioned was side stepped and never answered.
The press conference will be your normal, highly scripted affair, and probably won't provide any real information.Keep on Civin'

Yup, we are in Full Spin mode now.
Next comes the "amended" police report, the friend/witness sworn to secrecy/told to lie, the denial of reported facts, and hiding behind hospital privacy laws.
Not that it will change the amount of coverage ESPN gives to one of their pets... They will repeat the lies on the usual 10-to-1 ratio vs. the initial reports. (Oh that's right, the initial ESPN report said it was an allergy -- repeating verbatim what the publicist told Ed Werner.)
