  • Btw, as I think I said in a discussion about this last season, you give Ray Lewis some big DTs and see how dominating he looks. He doesn't look like he has lost a step at all. The key to dominating MLB play shows itself to be DT play... and Lewis looks ready to dominate again.

You are worth what the market is willing to pay for you. And seeing how New England demanded a 1st round pick for him, they knew he was worth that much as well.

Gabriel will be good, Jackson will be good, just maybe not this year. TE and RB are where they seem to want to go anyway, and they're well off there.

Geez, they don't even have Diet Pepsi Machine now?

Prediction: we will see Ellis Hobbs, Asante Samuel, or Randall Gay playing WR at some point in a complete 180 from the old days where Troy Brown played nickel back.

The offense made 5 turnovers and yet the defense only gave up 18 points! When the offense wasn't turning the ball over they were punting it back to the Rams, giving the Rams numerous possessions with good field position. The only way one could claim that this wasn't a sterling defensive performance is that they believe the Rams offense was pathetic.

              • The Colts-Texans game is looking ugly already. If teams ran up the score in the NFL like they do in college football, then I think that the Colts would beat them by 70.

The decision to draft Williams #1 overall is looking worse by the second, as the Texans offense is putrid and their pass rush is negligible.

                    • Lions get down to Bears 12 on pass interference, then miss the FG attempt. Shutout streak remains intact!

You sell Reggie Bush short. He can line up all over the field, and does. His receiving has equalled his rushing.

Even more amazing, the Bears are throwing the ball with a lead. 24-0.

They kept them out of the endzone. They deserve credit for that, but that's it. They didn't get any turnovers and they allowed some big plays. I don't call that a sterling performance, but it wasn't bad either.
