He probably got tired of the ignorant right wing fools who populate this forum.

I mean the ones who were wrong about Iraq, and practically everything else since, and still can't admit it. Either them or (from the thread mentioned) snot-nosed kids like Kuci and Jaguar who don't have anything to offer other than smart alecky comments.

When faced with such a bunch of obvious prats, other sites become more attractive (except Counterglow, which has a much higher prat count). Most of the good posters have left, or have cut back a lot.

Hell, the World of Warcraft forums are better reading than this place lately.

He repeated posted in support of conspiracy theories that included the ideas that 9/11 was at least in part a government conspiracy, that the impact of the airliners and subsequent fires weren't enough to bring down the WTC towers and thus "something is fishy here," and that the Pentagon was hit with a missile, not a plane.

Those positions were ripped to shreds, but Ted refused to accept it. It wasn't ideological, except perhaps from him.
