Sobolewski, being an idiot, took the bait and stepped into Klose from the side and behind whereupon Klose promptly fell to the ground ('with much wailing and gnashing of teeth').
I think you overestimate the amount of thought he put into his move in what, some tenths of a second? And it matters not whether the foul was 'drawn' or not, it matters if it happened or not.

      ... (whatever)
Certainly a source of unbiased information. And blaming all on the referee is something we never heard before, ...

... at least not from serious and honorable sportsmen.

That would much more fun to do on Poly!! Dauphin..make it so!!!!

        • Germany v Equador for top spot in Group A should be a good 'un. A draw will give it to Equador, with their last minute third goal.

          • Ha! Even Sweden managed a better first half against T&T. I can't really see why England are allowed in the WC at all. At least they should be forced to get through some sort of pre-qualification with teams like Andorra, San Marino and Malta.

                • I hate these kinda games. I've seen too many of them. The entire game is played in T&T's half with 11 men back and England banging the ball over, around, and beside, everywhere but in the damn goal. Who almost scores in their one trip over the midline? T&T!

Robinson has looked kinda weak eh?

PS I've had to turn off the idiot american commentators. I was there was spanish on SAP or something.

                        Nice one.

Kropotkin, England did play a minnow in qualification - Northern Ireland, and we lost!

                        • Problem is lack of anyone with invention when Gerrard is in the holding role and Rooney on the bench. J.Cole only looks to beat a man and then fall over, Lampard doesn't put in many decisive passes at all, Crouch is reverting to early season form, Owen is useless against such a deep defense etc etc.

I would let Gerrard roam a bit more, and encourage Joe Cole to pass a little bit more, especially to Ashley on the outside.

Most of the ESPN commentators suck. The pair that did the Ukraine/Spain game weren't bad - but that's probably because the weren't Americans.

                            • The constant prattle by the baseball commentator is driving me crazy.

Tommy Smyth and Adrian Healey know their stuff all right.

                              • Good work England.
Waiting for an hour before deciding to start playing.
Mind you, I didn't see the first half so maybe they were incredible but the TV station perversely decided not to show any highlights.
