With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I take things seriously that deserve to be. Whining because your feelings were hurt because of mildly critical comments coming from the US is a bit much to be expected to swallow with a straight face.

            Russians are crazy.

What the **** are you talking about?

The reasons for an invasion are irrelevant. An invasion is an invasion.

Even if that was how they perceived their history, that wouldn't explain jack about their position on the international level. Countries are driven by the interests of their time, not by how they feel about their history.

                  This includes post-Versailles Germany.

I'm talking about what accounts for the perception of a historical event as just or injust. What are you talking about?

No it isn't. That's like saying "The Germans feel threatened by the US, the British and the French because they've occupied their country before". You don't geel victimized by someone which you provoked.

You can get your points across without sucking up to either side claiming their right beyond argumentative value.

This is hilarious. GePap is trying to tell a Belgian what Belgium's identity is!
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Speaking of moronic positions, where is Serb? I thought he'd be on this thread faster than flies on crap.

Serb hasn't dissapeared and he of course swiftly ended the debate with intelligent and irrefutable arguments.
