In your example, if the man's clothes really did smell bad, that would be a fair reason not letting him dry them. OTOH, if that wasn't true, it would be prejudice (i.e. the owner looked down upon on the other man just because he's a hobo).

My perception was that the person didn't want homeless men in their establishment because they were homeless. They claimed that it was because the persons cloths stunk. I think they were just saying that so that they don't have to say, "we don't allow homeless in here" since they could theoretically be sued for that.

But there are often reasons for prejudice and discrimination. My point is that it's unfair to those who are discriminated against. If society in general is prejudice against a certain group then businesses will have a reason not to serve that group in the same capacity as the rest of society.

I know some clubs that wont allow you to go in if you are were a cap or sneakers....Is that prejudice? I dont think so. Also, a business owner is allowed to refuse service to who ever he wants. If the guy looks like shlt, he just knows that some potential customers wont come in. Second, laundrymats are often open 24hours a day...If he accepts one, hom many will claim to want to dry their clothes for a quarter just to come in and sleep the night over??

Like a Dunkin donuts for example....Coffee for a buck and drink it for 4 hours while its cold outside...Do you want to eat besides a guy that smells like trash cans and piss?

I know I dont.

Maybe you want to live in a world where we only have to sit next to people who meet our expectations. I don't think that's either possible or desirable. I think you are a very prejudice person, and I don't really understand you. That's all for me.

Sure....And I'm the one with prejudice...

No I dont want to eat besides someone that smells like shlt, And no I dont want to give some guy that can work like everyone else some money...

As for the 100$ bill, if I dont want to eat besides shlt or give a piece of **** my money, I sure wont take a 100$ bill that's full of shlt.

I work for my money, they should do the same.

Most people don't want to sit next to homeless people (I don't really either although I don't want to prevent them from anything), but Spec seems particularly hateful. Why is that Spec?

Easy.

I work for my money, they should too.

And second, I dont like roten stuff cuz it smells, I dont like shlt, piss, vomit, pigs, stables, sewers and so on, cuz they smell...That's it. Trash cans, garbage...name it...everything that stinks, I hate...I think its normal...I dont hate the person, hell, if I got to know one of them, we could probably get to be best of friends, but not until he stop smelling like shlt and ruinning my appetite...

Best example. Take..ummm...I dont know....Angelina Jolie

, put her in a bath of dookie for like a half hour, then make her sleep in a corner full of piss and the next day tell me you'd find her attractive, or even let her dry her clothes in your dryer after that...Not a chance. No matter Who it is, if you smell or look like shlt, you get on my bad side...And if you beg for money on top of that and I KNOW you can work like everyone else but you just choose to be a parasite and make everyone beleive its not your fault...then yes, I get hateful.

I have no compassion for losers.

Anyone here could find themselves homeless. From there, it's just a short trip to despair, and hopelessness is just across the street.

my brother in law just got fired, we found out. Turns out he doesn't fit in there. WTF does that mean?!
