Well the people at the testing site have said that there are way more dopers in the cross country skiing people than we now know, that many blood levels has been abnormal before the race, and some of them didn't race because of that (knowing they'd be caught afterwards in the tests) etc... this is why I don't like cross country skiing, it's not only boring, it's also full of doping users, just like bicycle competitions.

Comparing the margins of victory from all three races, which produced five hours and 70+ miles worth of skiing, Norway is faster by the blink of an eye, the snap of a finger. Or, mathematically, one tenth of a second.
Amazing.
And as I've hinted at before in this thread, nobody who witnessed the insane battle for the finish line of the relay in the 1982 Oslo WC between Norway and the Soviet Union will ever forget it as long as they live. It is a great event, and I wish I could see it tomorrow, but alas. You either have a TV or you don't.Comment

Grazie speziale, but the RAI link only works for residents of Italy, and the NRK one costs money. Which could be something to consider, if I were sufficiently interested. But I've been without a TV now for 3 years and have managed to almost completely block out that side of life. When confronted with a decision whether to pay for watching something I left behind so long ago, I simply can't do it.
But thanks for suggesting some options for me. I appreciate it.

And even if I did have a friend, it'd be rather rude to take advantage of him like that, now that I've made a conscious decision not to be bothered by TV on a daily basis.
