No way. The Frenchman won by 3/4 of a second, which is an eternity. Bode said it himself when he was interviewed right after: he skiied well enough to finish second, but ended up 5th. He missed second by less than the second place guy missed first, didn't he?

I just never realized it would be so easy to find when an event was. In the past it listed about 5 things that might be shown in some 6 hour block and 5 1/2 of those hours would end up being figure skating.

I find it impossible to see tha halfpipe as an Olympic sport.

They "figured out he probably hit a rock" ? Bode's own words (I was watching as they interviewed him) were "I skiied well enough to finish 2nd, but it just didn't happen for me." If it was a rock... **** happens. Good luck to him in other events.
