And still, these players, especially in Philly, they keep playing record minutes, making points, and then they claim they are so hurt they can't even take a piss? Our head coach just made his first opening saying that even though we know some of the teams are nto allowing them to play, they can't really stop them you know, they look after their interests but they can't stop them so our players are not having the heart right now, bunch of pussies a lot of them, staying home.

and they were talking about the ratings on sports radio... people tune in to watch the opening thing with the fireworks and torch lighting... that's about it... nobody gives a **** about all the events and stuff... hardly anyone watches all that garbage.

the rest of the world cares about the olympics because they are pathetic... they don't have real sports to watch... winning medals in the olympics actually means something in those countries, and they have nothing else to watch on TV because their entertainment is inferior to America
and this may be a bit off-topic, but I think it's hilariously ironic when people talk about America's "cultural imperialism"... it's not that America active exports it's pop culture... TV, movies, etc... it's that the rest of the world craves it like a drug because they don't have anything that comes close to being as awesome

but back to what I was talking about... the Olympics suck, and it's not just me that thinks so... most American sports fans think so. That's MOST... not just some or a few or many.... but MOST. People don't care. It's evident. That's why news outlets (other than NBC) won't run much Olympics news. BECAUSE NOBODY GIVES A ****. They know their audience will turn the station the second the word "Torino" is mentioned.
