    I didn't see a thread so I figure i'd make one.

    I very much enjoyed the opening entertainment so far. The countries are marching in now.

    AND HERE COMES MACEDONIA!

    Interesting -- people actually watch the opening ceremonies?

        I enjoy the choreography.

        I liked the mosh pit they had. it was cool.

          They do not appear to be moshing.

          And I would die if I saw people moshing to "Funky Town".

            They called it a moshpit, it was before, you might not have seen it. It wasn't moshing tho

                    OH YEAH we watch these ceremonies.. I always look forward to these.. so far, right now, it's looking great. I like this. Of course, Italy has lots of material it can use in this, history, culture etc.. so far this is impressive. It's not like a super pyro show, at least not yet, it's more about the content and it's done very well

                      Looking at the opening I started to wonder if Sports and the so-called high culture mix up...apparently they do sometimes. Just not with our Finnish commentators unfortenately. They happily mix up medieval, renaissance and baroque. They thought it was somekind of journey through time!

                        Because our cultural borders expanded.
                        We're running like a 50% culture rate. It's doing bad things for the budget, though And I don't see much progress on the spaceship...
