Well at least she is healthy and has another go for gold tomorrow in SuperG and another two later on (but Janica will be there too )

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

            did you read this

Kostelic began the day in 29th place Saturday, but rival Paerson, who started Saturday's portion of the competition in fourth place, failed to take advantage. After Kostelic beat Paerson's downhill time, Paerson snapped a ski pole over her knee and threw the two halves to the ground.

I guess this is some kind of record to be so dissapointed with the olympic medal... some people would give an arm and a leg for a medal, but I guess not for Anja.

Well on a positive side, at least she is honest

            • Pärson is notoriously slow in the downhill - how much time separated 4th from 29th?

Silver and Bronze are allright as long as the olympics are on, but once it´s passed only Gold gets remembered. And she has to take gold if she wants to eclipse past heros like Pernilla Wiberg and Ingmar Stenmark. I suppose that´s why she´s not happy with anything other than gold.

I think 29th was the slalom starting poslition (not too sure actually), after Slalom Schild was first Kostelic second and Paerson fourth, and Paerson is now an accomplished DH skier too...

she had won in the World Cup twice already and was third here... so not sure what is this "29" th reference too... apart from the possible first starting position, meaning that when you start as fourth you get a better slope as opposed to 29th, but as I said not sure what was this reference too. I just picked the paragraph refering to Paerson snapping the ski poles which is for a medal winner.

                  • The swedish mens curling team has collapsed totally. After losing their 4th game in a row they´re out of the running. No medal for sweden there... At least the women are doing better

                    • just to add, Anja really did ski almost perfect DH and had 1.58 sec advantage over the first at the time, which under normal circumstances is an enormous advantage, so the third from slalom Zettel went down and she was .7 of a second slower than Paerson, so I guess Anja really hoped "this is it".... only for Kostelic to best her for .55 ... (not to mention that Schild did her best DH of her life to keep the .8 advantage from slalom and get into second place) As for Anja I guess she is just unlucky she was born at the same time as Janica as under normal circumstances Anja would rule the roost like Janica does (and Anja rules while Janica is absent due to injury, which is quite a lot)... but I guess this was a bit too much... heh even fourth placed skiers dont react like that...

                      • yeah, I dont understand either now that I looked at the splits, Kostelic was ahead of Pärson after the slalom, by quite a lot. Pärson was actually quicker on the downhill portion than Kostelic.

                        • And just to add insult to injury the Super-G was moved until tomorrow. This could mean that Kostelic might be well enought to attend, something she didn´t plan on doing if the race had been run today...

That is just stereotyping of the worst order...how do you know he doesn't get up early in the morning to kill pigs and make bacon, or have to get to the brewery to make Carlsberg, or get to the artists' studio to draw inflammatory anti-Islamic cartoons? Huh? Huh?
