McCown would be a far better starter than Harrington.
I don't think so. He just had a couple good games last year. One of them was that game in Mexico City against the Niners, and the Niners defense was just worn out much of the game. I don't think it was actually that impressive.

He played for the Cardinals, which isn't indictative of any QB's skill.

I'd LOVE for them to land Keyshawn Johnson. He isn't asking for much money (he says he wants to be paid what Randle El is being paid, abouts... and he's FAR better than Randle El),
Danny S. really screwed the rest of the league with his Randle El deal. El is basically a great #3 receiver who can also serve as a PR and possibly as back-up QB. Snyder paid him #1 receiver money.

Well Randle-El is getting $4.5 mil a year, abouts. That's not bad for landing Keyshawn.

ATLANTA -- In a move that addresses the Atlanta Falcons' most glaring defensive shortcoming, the team on Friday reached an agreement with unrestricted free-agent safety Lawyer Milloy, who was released by the Buffalo Bills two weeks ago for salary cap reasons.
Milloy, 32, will sign a three-year contract, worth $6.01 million, with a signing bonus of $2.5 million and salaries of $810,000, $1 million, and $1.7 million, according to agent Carl Poston, ESPN.com's Michael Smith reports.
And the Falcons are close to a deal for John Abraham:
ATLANTA -- In their marathon pursuit of New York Jets three-time Pro Bowl defensive end John Abraham, the Atlanta Falcons have now reached the halfway point of the grueling race.
The Falcons on Friday reached an agreement with Abraham on a multi-year contract, a high-ranking team official and several league sources confirmed. The next step: Reaching a trade agreement with the Jets on appropriate compensation for the standout defensive player.
Clearly, though, the Falcons believe they can complete the deal. In fact, team officials indicated Friday they are confident that Abraham will land in Atlanta, to lend energy and a consistent weakside pass-rush threat to a defense that must improve for the Falcons to return to the playoffs.
It'd be great if Atlanta can get Abraham without giving up Schaub or the 1st round pick.
The Falcons are shoring up the area of weakness last year very nicely. Now for a LT to replace Shaffer (and perhaps a few OL).

Oh God. It's looking like the Cowboys are really going to blow up the team chemistry.
Oh, man. Parcells will leave. The rest of the players will be disgusted.
Oh, fluck.

And the best part is that both sides were confirming and denying the reports earlier today... the confusion already has begun!

Terrell Owens may have found his home on the range.
The talented and volatile wide receiver, unwanted in Philadephia after a season-long squabble with management and quarterback Donovan McNabb, has reached an agreement in principle with the Dallas Cowboys, the Dallas Morning News reported, citing two unnamed sources.
The sources told the Morning News a formal announcement was expected in the next few days. No terms of the agreement were reported.

Lavar Arrington is one of the bigger names left. I think he'll fit well in a 3-4 defense. I've seen him since he was a rookie, and he's probably got the best combination of strength and speed for any linebacker not named Urlacher. The downside is that he's not great about sticking to zone assignments and he's not that brilliant at coverage, but he's certainly a top quality LB.
He's still young, and he's still not signed after other guys are already gone and the money's dried up a little bit. Since I said he might be best in a 3-4, New England, perhaps?

If they had a jerk magnet, you'd be here as their towel boy by now.
It's not even in Sports section. On Page One.

From the way you describe him, he doesn't sound like he fits into a Belichick defense. Doesn't he like smart, disciplined players who are versatile - play the run, rush the QB, drop into coverage, occasionally catch TDs on offense?
