Dillon is over 30 (will be 32 in Oct). He's averaged almost 270 carries per year (9yrs). So, injuries aside, it's quite possible he could be on the decline.

All I know is this is the same team which wandered into Philadelphia 4 years ago and gashed the vaunted Philly run defense which prided itself on stopping the likes of Davis, Barber and Emmitt Smith with James Mungro at RB.Well, we Colts fans were prepared to lose James, although it seemed like the management was trying to find a way to keep him. The Colts will likely draft a first round halfback. The draft is fairly deep, so one of the good ones like Lendale White or Laurence Maroney will fall to the end of the 1st round. We also kind of want to draft an outside linebacker, but that can wait.

Not because James Mungro is the second coming on Jim Brown, but because they focused a ridiculous amount on Manning, and as a result got destroyed by a practise squad running back.

This is also the same side which wandered into Tampa Bay 3 years ago against that Superbowl winning defense and gashed them with James Mungro, Dominic Rhodes and the other Ricky Williams.

This is also the same side which turned an undrafted free agent rookie into a 1000 yard runner in just 10 games.

This is also the same side which got rid of Marshall Faulk in the prime of his career and went to the playoffs 5 times in the next 7 years.

I don't think it means a lot to be honest

Kitna signs with the Lions. Interesting situation. I think Marinelli may give Kitna a shot to start in Game 1, though it depends on who Martz likes more to run the O.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. The Rams have signed 3 key defensive players. I think they will be better than the free agents they signed last year. They've been working on their defense for years now. I hope they can finally fix it.I drank beer. I like beer. I still like beer. ... Do you like beer Senator?

Martz sounded like he thought Harrington had a lot of potential - though how much was truth and how much blowing smoke, I don't know. As long as Kitna doesn't, say, break a legOriginally posted by Imran Siddiqui

Titans signed former Patriot WR David Givens.

Edit: Dolphins just traded 2d round pick for Culpepper! I guess they thought Brees wanted too much $$, because of what the Saints were offering.

With Culpepper in Miami (pending physical), it seems like Brees is ending up in New Orleans... throwing the entire early draft off.

edit: More details on the Brees deal, the Saints gave him $60 mil over 6 years.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Kevin Mawae signs with Tennessee. Big loss for the Jets and nice gain for the Titans. Titans also sign Givens from the Pats.

For the second day in a row, the Tennessee Titans have added one of the top players in the unrestricted market, as the team reached agreement with former New England wide receiver David Givens on a five-year contract worth $24 million.

The Titans also agreed to terms with center Kevin Mawae, released last month by the New York Jets. The 35-year-old Mawae, a six-time Pro Bowler, missed much of last season with a triceps injury and will replace Justin Hartwig, who signed with Carolina.

And the Eagles have OFFICIALLY cut Terrell Owens. Let the sweepstakes... err.. begin?

Wild FA market this year.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

With NO no longer needing a QB, they will probably try to trade down. The draft is suddenly looking a lot less predictable at the top.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Look for the Jets to try to make a move. They want Leinart, not Young.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
