        Spoiler:

The guys attacking wayne would use such heavy artillery. surely someone back at the presidential compound would know about it, right?

        • Uneven episode. Some excellent moments: the terrorist takeover of the gas plant, Jack's confrontation of Collette, **** blowing up. Some moments that just make you want to punch the writers: more CTU-worker personal drama? Really? And when did Wayne become a commando? And the cheesy line Audrey gave Jack after he stopped her interrogation. Yikes.

Ended with a bang though, and the preview didn't give anything away. Looking forward to next week, we should start to get some resolution to the Nathanson/Cummings plot.

          1. Jack Bauer (dead?! Not bloody likely)
          2. Curtis Manning (he and Jack with the synchronized terrorist takedown? Sweet)
          3. Chloe O'Brian (still bringing the techno kungfu, and the snark)
          4. Aaron Pierce (saving the day again)
          5. Christopher Henderson (he is the link between the White House plot and the Bierko plot, but still not sure how)
          6. Wayne Palmer (where did he get the gat? And is he an ex-Marine in addition to ex-CoS? Writers have 'splaining to do)
          7. Vladimir Bierko (that whole sequence where he takes over the plant? ****ing sweet)
          8. Bill Buchanan (not a fan of ineffectual Bill; be consistent, stand up to the stuffed shirts)
          9. Karen Hayes (either be a hardass, or defer to CTU; don't play it both ways)
          10. Audrey Raines (would've been a lot higher without the weepy-weepy there, sweetheart)
          11. Mick Novick (absent this week)
          12. Martha Logan (ditto)
          13. Vice President Gardner (double ditto; I expect we'll find out his extent in the plot in the next two weeks)
          14. Evelyn (holy ****, you mean she actually is important to the plot after all? ****ing writers)
          ...
          2873. The Kim-threatening cougar
          2874. Nina's rotting corpse
2875. Miles Papazian (you're creepy, sleazy, and slowing everyone down, jackass)
2876. Shari, the crazy geek (that look Chloe gave her after her comment about Buchanan was priceless)
          2877. Kim Bauer
2878. President Charles Logan (absent this week, but still a giant douche)

          • A good episode. Jack + Curtis back to their normal killing ways. No Logan scenes. Jack going crazy on Collette for her making Audrey subject to torture. (I would speculate that Jack or somebody's going to tell James Heller about that incident.) If only CTU would do some background checks before hiring new people... I've already had enough of Sexual-Harrasment-Sheri.

Speculations, censored for those who would rather watch the show "blind," so to speak:
            Spoiler:

I would guess though, that Jack is not dead, but Bierko is. There's been a theme this season with leads dying, just like we had Marwan always escaping last season: Cummings hung himself, Rossler shot by his sex slave, Nathanson shot by Bierko's men, Henderson runs away, President Palmer's assasin shot by Jack, airport guy takes the suicide pills, etc. etc.

I still feel something's going to come from the Germany plot. And I wonder what it is that Wayne has to tell Aaron, maybe he found some more info hidden somewhere, just like at the beginning of the day.

              • Guynemer is the worse judge of character. Ever. Hence the exact opposite to his list must be right.

                1. President Charles Logan
                2. Kim Bauer
                3. Shari, the crazy geek
                4. Miles Papazian
                5. Nina's rotting corpse
                6. The Kim-threatening cougar
                ...

2877. Curtis Manning (he wets his bed at night)
2878. Jack Bauer (he wets his bed at night and he has limp penis...)

                • 1. President Charles Logan

As soon as I saw him, I thought to myself "There's no way I'd ever buy a used car from this guy."

                  • And the great swerve begins. The other half of it will be complete when Robocop turns on Logan in the season finale. (Seriously: Who would you rather take down - a rogue counter-terrorist agent, or a ****ing evil corrupt President? It's going to happen - just you watch.)

                    • Spoiler:
Casting evil dad from Twin Peaks as the vice-president was a pretty good decoy. Everyone was sure he was the bad guy. Or maybe he is...

Now the question remains: is Logan really a bumbling idiot, or is it all an act? He seems a bit more assertive, more sure of himself than in the previous season.

                          • This could actually make sense, I suppose.

Logan masterminded the Cummings/Nathanson plot, but this was unknown to Cummings and Nathanson; to maintain plausible deniability, he worked through Henderson.

But when things went pear-shaped at the docks, and Bierko wanted to gas Americans, Logan was jolly-well ****ed. It was never his intention to gas anyone but the terrorists themselves; thus he truly does want to stop Bierko. But he also needs to cover his ass in regards to the airport attack and the Palmer assassination.

He's still a whiny little *****, as he showed so often after the gas was turned against him, but he's also evil.

                              • Yeah, just how many men does he have? Of course they can't be that good SINCE THEY KEEP GETTING KILLED.

And I can't believe Heller left the recording there. Don't you think he would have at least kept it in a different place then near the obvious targets of Jack and Audry?

And another week of tight security at TCU as Chloe walks right out with her laptop.
