Are you ready for some FOOTBALL - Final Regular Season Week
Yeah similar style, but with a better player named .

well see, that's not your style...
Just because you have no player evaluation skills doesn't mean you have to be jealous .

But if the Bears can stay healthy, and get some lucky bounces, some good things can happen. Compare this team to 2001. The defense is better. The WR group is better. The O-line is about the same. The RB situation is about the same. QB is a question mark though. Can Orton be better than the 2001 combo of Jim Miller and Shane Mathews? I hope so.
I also said this:
Packers (old broken down Favre, no D, no offensive line)
Detroit (offensive not clicking, no D)
9-7, 10-6 if everyone stays healthy and we get lucky!
Not even I thought the Bears would be as good as they were this year. But I sure did a better job evaluating the NFC North than you did.
I have to say Imran, much as it pains me to give kudos to Sava, that you appear to have had your ass handed to you on a plate with all the trimmings...
So after getting the Bears prediction hopelessly wrong, why did you have to follow it up with Vick and McNabb - you appear to have, shall we say, unconventional opinions...
Sava seems to think player evaluation = team evaluation. And he was talking about reading skills?

I didn't really have a prediction to make about them at the beginning of the year, so I kept my mouth shut. But I certainly didn't think they were going to be as good as they have been.
Honestly, I would have guessed probably 10-6 or 9-7... maybe 8-8 depending on the schedule. It's hard to say. I thought their offense would be improved, but I had no idea Palmer would become one of the NFL's top QB's.
I don't pay that much attention to AFC teams before the season starts.
I try to concentrate on the Bears and their division opponents... and to a lesser extent, the other teams the Bears are going to face later in the season.
It's so hard to evaluate teams before the season starts if you don't have access to the local coverage, sports radio, newspapers, the beat reporters, etc... national media is garbage. I hardly ever pay any attention to anything any national media outlet says.
Sports Illustrated is notoriously bad.
this year, they picked the Bears 32nd (#2 NFC seed)
last year, they picked the Chargers 32nd (12-4)
the year before, they picked the Panthers 32nd (lost in Super Bowl)
The best sources of information are local media... by far.
What in the **** are you talking about? Donegal hasn't even picked a sig yet! What am I supposed to do put "Sig here when Donegal thinks of something"?
