        Isaw it today

It did contain Christain points, allegories

If you know your Bible then you will plainly see them

        Very well done

Saw it tonight. Very good movie, true to the book. And yes, Aslan is Christ. The symbolism is spot on. A decent heartwarming movie.

I thought it was fine, not great. Cinematography wasn't anywhere near as good as LOTR, and that's not because they did it like that on purpose. There were a lot of shots which seemed too close in or too far out, as if the director didn't know where to put the camera.

Still, the kids were pretty decent actors, and it managed to melt my cynical heart by the end. Hopefully they'll get a better director next time around - I have high hopes for the next few movies. I always liked the Narnia books, despite not being Christian (not that that really impacts enjoyment).

Other things - the whole 'But we're from Finchley!' line got a big laugh in London, unsurprisingly. However, there were several moments in the film which unintentionally elicited giggles and laughter, mainly involving Peter and his sword. I guess British audiences are more hardbitten...

North London. It's not an inherently funny place, but it was just weird to hear in the movie. A bit like if Aragorn were to say 'Yeah, I'm from New Jersey' in LOTR.

                      Riiiiiiight.

Do you have something against Disney, specifically, or are you somehow unaware of the rampant commercialization of Christianity that has been going on for more then a millennia?

On a related note, at the time of this post there are only 13 shopping days left until Christmas... that's for the other readers, because, of course being a proper Christian, you don't participate in any of the coporate silliness that happens this time of year.

As a Disney shareholder, I am incensed that they aren't doing their bit to commercialize Islam.

                                Rofl, good one.

You better base your company in China though, or the Vatican lawyers will be all over your butt with patent violations.
