      • Bush said in Panama yesterday WE DO NOT TORTURE.
Any views I may express here are personal and certainly do not in any way reflect the views of my employer. Tis the rising of the moon..

Look, I just don't anymore, okay?

Somehow they think if they sidetrack the issue to the person involved it will make it go away. But it just makes them look desparate.
Almost prescient, but you ascribe these traits to the wrong side.

Plame was outed to smear her husband because he called the Administration on its lies, while these prisons were likely outed to bring about the end of such an egregious breach of everything that we should stand for. I know this is an alien thought to right wing hacks like yourself, but some people actually like the idea of due process.

Ted, I owe you an apology. Apparently we do have a systematic approach to torture.

according the WaPo theres considerable support within the admin for accepting the McCain bill - from Rice and State, from DoD, both civilians and brass, and from the NSC. According to WaPo its Cheney whos in determined opposition.

Yawn. I responded in kind after Drake got personal. After the second time, actually.

And since when has "usurping due process is immoral" become a personal attack?

Yes, you do, considering the accuracy of previous bold statements from the same person:

                    1) Iraq has weapons of mass destruction

                    2) Al Queda was working with Saddam on September 11th

                    AND finally:

                    3) "Brownie, you're doing a heck of a job!"

                    Thanks

You know he is the VICE President, so it shouldn't matter, since the President should have the overriding vision for how we conduct ourselves on the world stage.

Exposing illegal activities is generally a good thing. Exposing an agent doing their job isn't. Indeed, whistleblowing on illegal activities often results in immunity/protection for the whistleblower, as it's encouraged by law, whereas there are lots of libel actions against newpapers and anyone else who exposes non-illegal activities.

Seems quite simple really, it's not about agreeing with the results, it's about whether the activities are legal.

It would be a hard pick

                            Incompetence vs. calculated, destructive ruthlessness

Since they can't seem to decide which one is in charge we are left with the sum of Incompetence + destructive ruthlessness

When did I get personal? You responded to a question of mine and I explored the logical inferences that could be drawn from your response. Nothing personal about it.

Round-and-round we go, where we stop God only knows! I especially like the black reporter, she was getting piiissed at little Snotty's weaseling.

Reporters growing spines and not taking crap from administration officials right before your very eyes
