I've never understood the logic behind equalisation. It just fosters animosity between the individual provinces, and doesn't solve the problems associated with delivery of health care. Much of the disparities have to do with the split betwee n urban and rural, and no amount of money is going to change that. Folks in the big 6 cities, Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Ottawa, Edmonton and Calgary are all going to have better health care then elsewhere.
