I played a lot of Civilization games. Robbing convenience stores? Hah! I laid waste to cities, pillaged regions and emptied continents. GTA is for amateurs.

P.S. yeah I consider myself a good guy for all I did

I think I am so brainwashed that I would use nuclear weapons without hesitation if I was in a position where I could. I'd do it for the sound effect. And all the moralizators could then say "I told you violent games affect kids!" and sue Sid Meier.

The gangster **** you get up to in this game is no different to the gangster **** you see in films and tv series. If you want to make a case against gta, it needs to be against the interactivity, not the content.

I think the main characters morality with regard to drugs could be a good thing, as a step towards it being socially acceptable to say no to drugs.

The only people with true moral are Taliban and super radicals. Screw them. I'd rather be immoral and free and not acting up on it, than super moral, radical and oppressor.

It's not that simple. Sociological studies have shown that TV shows (and by extension, video games) have definite impacts on how people see things.

It's not as direct as you become a serial killer after watching a violent TV serial, but the influence is definitely there.

I think there was a patch for GTA: SA, that makes it more suitable for minors. A PG-patch, if you will. It was even named after popular children's drink... I can't quite remember it.
I've allways wanted to play "Russ Meyer's Civilization"

And i dont think it's as simple as "if you're 95% of the way towards going on a killing spree, GTA will push you the other 5%.
