No it doesn't. Then again, if you're just talking about Opera in general, you might be right.

*cough* Though I didn't quite mean this to be a raving Opera threadjack.

shoot me for not wanting google to spend their $ on developing software that i have no use of

i prefer google working on innovative things like google earth or library indexing rather than things that already exist

further more, i really dont like google coming up with a product that at the same time is competitive to an open source project (firefox: rss feeds, weather info, etc) and enhances a closed source application (microsoft full-of-security-holes outlook of all things!!)

next thing you know, google will be producing ie patches!

I don't think Google Desktop competes with Firefox...

One is a desktop information centre and the other is a web browser. Sometimes they overlap.

I do think it's utterly retarded that you ask for less competition just because an open source project may have similar functionality. That is a brilliant opinion.

Downloaded it! Right now I have the sidebar with autohide, but I'll probably move it into my taskbar sooner or later.

3 hours of indexing to go...

I'm installing it because this version has automatic result display as you type the keyword.

I dig that stuff in every application I use

if there is a god, this thing will turn out to be some sort of uber-virus and will explode, effectively destroying stupid people's computers

I love the sidebar, especially since I have a 2nd monitor to stick it on.

My version is crashing and refuses to install the uploads. Anyway I don´t like it, I´d enjoy a news-ticker-like rss reader

edit: weather.com active window kicks ass even tells stuff about what to wear, calorie/water amount spent according to weather when training

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

Another useless extra brought to you by Google, trying to take over the internets and your computer since 1996.

I don't find it that useless, but then again I don't have a toy computer that looks pretty instead of doing useful things.

If you are daring to imply that WoW is anything but useful, then I shall smite you.
