Oh come on... why the personal attack... this was meant as fun, and people are rolling with. While I love the picture, your comments are out of line...

Stick to the fun... and don't attack the posters...

Shame on you Straybow - this is an official bushbashing thread so it's quite inappropriate of you to claim that Dem's would make a disaster.

Edit : dammit, Ming of all beat me on this

Ming, I just found the comparisons... less than apt. LoTM did the best job so far.

And there are plenty more pics at the website. (I'm attaching instead of img-ing 'cuz I don't think they want linked pics eating their bandwidth.)

If GWB were president, there wouldn't be a Peal Harbour. He would have launched a pre-emptive, uh, defense, against Japan first.

We would have defeated Germany in 1940.

We let Japan join us on our Western powers crusade against Russia in 1941.

Yeah, why waste time waiting on that a theoretical enemy may attack you

                  * theories is that japan actually did make an attack on US, but don't trust them !

Britain alarmed by American confusion sends delegation to Washington to explain Russia is their ally. Dubya says that's good, the USA will ally with Russia. He says if the USA and Britain ally with Russia they should be able to defeat the Soviet Union. Suggests asking the Germans to join in. British tell Dubya the Germans are already there. Dubya commends German foresight.

Albert Einstein writes to Dubya warning that the atomic bomb is a possibility. Dubya writes back thanking Einstein for this letter but says he personally thinks it will never work. Dubya writes he's also heard the Germans might be developing such a weapon and to save US tax payers he's had a nifty idea and thinks the US should wait and see how the Germans go with it. Asks Einstein not to tell the English about atomic weapons because they can't be trusted and don't even worry about the Soviet Union.

Also points out to Einstein in a postscript that he has mispelt "nucular".

"Today's" Democrats and "lefties," fully supported the invasion of Afghanistan, which was based on MORAL PRINCIPLES, something you moronic REACTIONARIES have forgotten about.

So, WHEN NECESSARY, military force is appropriate, almost always in self-defense.

So the WW2 crap analogy doesn't work.

By the way Roosevelt was the most Progressive President ever, and matches the viewpoints of modern Progressives more than any other President in our history.

He also just happened to manage over some of the most trying times this nation has ever seen, and guided us to the greatest times of our history.
