Are you his brother by any chance? McMahon got caught up in nothing. He just wasn't good enough. He has a decent arm and decent running, but a leader? Yeah, those 1-10 Rutgers teams showed great leadership.

As for Bradshaw, Theismann, and Simms, I'd like to see some cites for that. Also you aren't talking about the smartest of announcers/pundits there.

Hell, if he was so good, why does he continue to be a backup. Some team (like San Fran) would have snapped him up by now if he was really that good.

I mean Hell, the man has a career passer rating of 55.0!

McMahon lost every game he started in Detroit.

If McNabb goes down, and you're forced to rely on McMahon, the Eagles are hosed.

Detroit has a knack for turning promising QB's into mediocre ones. Peete, Ware, Mitchell, etc.. And currently Hasselback. Reid was Favre's QB coach in GB. I'm sure McMahon will be better off with a team that knows how to get the most out of their QB's.

            Andre Ware?!

Oh man... I am so torn now. See, I like the Eagles (apart from T.O.), and I really like McNabb. But part of me wants to see him go down and watch Philly plummet to last place under the leadership of McMahon.

Hasselback? Both Hasselbeck's in the league never played for Detroit.

As for Rodney Peete and Andre Ware... LOL! You do realize that Peete only played for Detroit for 5 years and with stints with the Eagles and Panthers (when he got some playing time) was crap? In fact, he's only had two seasons with more TDs than INTs where he has thrown at least 100 times. One was with Detroit. The other was with Carolina, where he managed to beat it by one.

Andre Ware was worse. The epitome of a system QB in college (thank you Houston!). He couldn't do anything other than make 3rd string behind a pitiful Rodney Peete and average Eric Kramer.

Eagle's RB Correll Buckhalter done for the season. I feel so bad for this guy. 3rd season-ending injury in the past 4 years. This one may be career-ending.. He worked so hard to get back this year...

                    Bears are screwed

They are relying on Kyle Orton and Benson will have missed pretty much all of training camp. Poor Orton will be blitzed to death.

I hear the Superdome is damaged...

                        will they postpone the season?

or will it be repaired in time?

                              • Nah... the Bears aren't screwed

I'd rather see Orton in there learning. He will make mistakes, and will be blitzed until he figures it out. But the same was happening to Hutch, and he looked like deer caught in headlights. He was the best prepared to take over, and it was obvious that he didn't get it.
Against a weak Indy defense, he looked awful. And the Buffalo good D just killed him.

At least now we will see what we got with Orton, and he will get some experience. I'm sick of seeing the team put on hold for another year while we wait to see if Rex will be any good and whether he can stay healthy next year.

At least now... we will learn something instead of just sitting and waiting for next year.

And Benson is a moron. All he did was hurt himself. I hope Thomas has a great year and CB spends most of his time on the bench...
