If the designation of a free country is reserved for only those countries for whom ALL of its citizens are free (a strict standard, but if you wann go that way, I won't argue too much), then there are NO free countries in the world.
I know of no country in the world where young people have full equal rights.
I gladly conceed the fact that things are better in Europe and elsewhere for youth than in the United States. Its a sad fact I confront every day. However being better than the US in terms of youth rights isn't such a great acheivement. You still have much ground to cover before you can meet an acceptable standard of freedom and equality for youth. Until that happens, then no country is a free country.
Of course as strong a proponent of youth rights as I am, I recognize that "free" is a relitive term, and it is unfair, to a degree, to judge a nation by future standards. If at some point a free country is one in which meet eating is deemed barbaric and illegal, then I feel it would be an unfair standard to apply today.
It also must be recognized that countries can often have schizophrenic policies toward different groups of people. As far as freedoms for adults, I'd rank the United States as one of the top in the world. As far as freedoms for youth I'd rank it as one of the worst.Captain of Team Apolyton - ISDG 2012

I never said anything about equality or total freedom. I don't think youth should have equal legal rights, if you recall.
