                        Yeah, there's even a few Canadians who speak french here, and we were a part of the french Paiktis thread. The problem is that if they allow french threads, they would also have to allow all the other languages too.

                          There's one site whose forums I like, which is http://www.net4war.com/forums
                          It's a French site where you can discuss strategy games. It's very oriented towards wargames and the military, but also hosts a community of French Dominions II players (probably the French community). If you're interested in military history or wargames, it's an interesting place to look.

                            The Spanish subforum is an exception, which dates back to the old times of Apolyton, back when it hosted a Spanish civ site (many local civ fansites are hosted independantly).
                            I agree with your opinion but it would be easier for some (like me ) to write in french, and it could bring here more people I think...
