These include transmuting elements, Maglev, high speed suborbital transport, etc. It would not be a problem now, but in under a century it could become a major problem.

IIUC fusion works but it currently takes more energy to produce the reactions than the energy the reactions produce... or at they at most break even. Am I right? Or have they improved?
Could someone explain cold fusion to me?
I'm sure if Australia had its way we'd stick to fossil fuels and fission.... we export a lot of coal, gas and uranium. Don't be surprised if this project is sabotaged by Aussie terrorists
