Explain to me more, but maybe it's the type of job that if they have to, they can delay hiring you until after the end of August instead of in late July??
I just did do this explaining to the HR lady and she is going to explain my situation to the guy who would be my boss. Apparently they have been trying to fill the position for 18+ months, so what would a few more mean? I told her I really want it, but a month to quit and move is quite quick.

Is Boca Raton far from where you are? Is it a contract job or perm?

Space, I know.. we'll take him to Cuba for few summers to get his hands working too.. make his boxing superior at young age.. then to Brazil to train his BJJ, he'll be the youngest Abu Dhabi champion, and that will earn him most likely a shot at better fighting organisation in MMA.. I'd say after that he should easily get a shot at King Of The Cage, but we might go to Japan and work for Pancrase for a year or two, we want the belt within the first 18 months, so if they won't give us a shot, like 3 fights tops and then ranked #1 contender and shot at the belt, we'll move to KOTC instead and get that deal. We'll go for Shooto too, get ring experience.. I'll say he can start fighting hard at the age of .. 14.. in my gym. We won't put him against bigger and older guys before he turns 17, so he can handle himself. We won't go for meaningless beatings, we want to win. Maybe for falls we go to Thailand to get his Muay Thai in order.. so we got about 6 months of the year cut out training outside the US, and the reamining 6 months I'll put him working in Ohio because his mom and dad want him there. And I figure he wants to finish school.

But I figure before 20, we can choose between Pride and UFC. And we will choose Pride. For better money and future. Superstar!

Yes. Japher you agree yes? Yes! Of course. I dont know though. I think that would require we move around with Japher, and Im about to just start college.

Job is pretty much the same thing I do know, only for a company of about 200 instead of one of about 200,000.

It pays less in salary, but cost of living is much better in Cincinnati than here in San Jose. Also, they have stock options, profit sharing, and merit pay... So, compensation will be a little less, but not much, and more when you factor the cost of living in to it.

The company has been around for 25+ years and is growing. Their stock is nice and has a good evaluation.

The company has given me $6500 to use to move with. We need to fly out there and look, this would require hotels and meals. Then we would definitly hire movers, we aren't that stupid. There will definitly be some out of pocket expenses, but worth it in the long run.

        Dude!

          The Ultimate Baby Fight Championships?

I don't know, do we have to sign a waiver?

Of course you all know, this means my posting will probably drop in quantity... but the quality should be just as crapy!

We? You sound like you are qualified trainer! Well.. I can't do it all alone so you can help the same time you learn the ropes so you can move in with the whole business in a year or so. Or if you are qualified already, then no problem. And we don't need Japher for this really.. but I figure he has some legal rights too.. so yeah..

Nah, we want Japher there too

Japher, no he won't fight underaged.. we just start training early so he'll be good when he's of age.. and experienced.. We aren't making him break his bones in stupidity. This is all in the name of protection. He will be able to kill... to protect. So it's good.

I am pretty certain things will work out as they should.

It is just nice to be offered a job after being rejected from so many others.

Japher, just hire a moving company to to everything so you do stress your little babymaker... er, wife. Most companies will allocate some money to cover your moving expenses and may even cover a rental for a month or two.

As a parent I would say that moving before the baby is born is just as easy if not more so than trying to move IMMEDIATELY after the baby is born. The big problem is if your wife has a regular doc, she may wish to have that doc see things through.

I just don't relish the idea of moving with a 5 or 10 day old. If she CAN move in advance of the birth and you are happy with the medical care you can arrange in Ohio, I would move ahead of time.

                      Oh and congratulations.

Understatement of the century. Have you checked out the real estate prices in Cincy?!

                        Congrats!

I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Why don't you go to Ohio & scout things out then let wify stay in San Jose to ride out the baby thing then hire a moving company to move stuff a few weeks after junior arrives.
