My post was not about Poles of Jewish descent, or Poles of judaic religion, it was about Poles without connection to Jewishness of any kind. These were sth like 6-7% of prisoners of Auschwitz, still, they were the second biggest group there,
including Romas and (far far away) gays.
over 6 mln Polish citizens died during the war; almost 3mln of them were Jews or people of Jewish descent.
Of course, You don't have to count all the rest as victims of Holocaust (especially that some were killed by Soviets), but some You have to.
