I just lied to a Jehovah's witness. I lied about my name and religion. Now he thinks a practicing Roman Catholic named John lives at my house.

I guess I really am a big, fat, horny liar.

So what's the scriptural support for Purgatory, again?
The one I like best is where Paul talks about our works being tested in fire, and that the one who's works do not survive the test being saved, but only as one escaping through the fires.

            Purgatory being those same fires.

I think that's a big stretch. Seems obvious to me that Paul is referring to our mortal lives, and the "tested in fire" are the ordeals we all go through while living. I don't see any indication this is a reference to some afterlife cleansing.

Looks to my like Purgatory is a contradiction of the notion that Jesus's sacrifice cleanses sin. Several passages in the NT state that all sins will be forgiven thanks to his sacrifice. If purgatory is true, then his sacrifice wasn't enough...

The Dante's Inferno Test has sent you to the First Level of Hell - Limbo!
Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.

Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
                              LevelScore
                              Purgatory (Repenting Believers)Very Low
