British food is horrid. I like to drink at British pubs, but I learned not to eat in them . I had this one meal that had lamb in it. I never tasted anything worse.

Bah. Come over here for home cooked traditional food such as a joint of roast beef with all the trimmings and then say that.

Though in my family, traditional sunday food also includes Nasi Goerng and pilaf. hmm....I'm drunk.

I love roast beef, but I figure it's one of those things that americans made better.

bah! Your pitiful burnt offerings compare not with a still pink roast beef with yorkshire puddings, horseradish, roast potatos, blah blah blah.

Dammit, still drunk. Maybemore wine will sober me up

                More wine has not helped.

And what's the difference between tex-mex, mexican, and now I hear cali-mex?
No real cuisine is inherently gourmet- and you can turn any cuisine into gourmet cooking- heck, if you can have American gourmet, you can have Mexican gourmet.

After all, alol those chillies that now grace Indian food come from Mexico.

we have Indian fast food here in Las Vegas. It's probably cheaper to visit here (though maybe not after gambling and whores ).

We also have Hawaiin fast food. Does anyone eat Hawaiin food? Some of it's pretty good. Some of it now so good. But I enjoyed most of it.

I have a nice Indian restaurant 2 blocks from my apartment. You can get good, authentic Indian food for cheap in NYC. I like it.

I must have some Mexican food occasionally, if only for the cilantro. Cilantro is a god among herbs.
