There was a minor political stink here a few years ago, some MP said immigrants (and their decendants)should take the 'cricket test' to see if they were really British. Meaning that if you still supported the 'old' country you had failed the test.
. Same thing with you. You want them to back the country they are a part of, rather than their old ancestoral homes.
. Though it is more understandable that being born and raised in a country and backing a country that you've never even been in. Throw 'em back across the border, if they love it there so much
