      Already five pages, you guys have a lot of spare time...

      Sorry I missed the start of the new thread, I only realised this afternoon that nobody posted in the former one since the 27th of February. That should have rang a bell but... well, a lot of things are happening in my life these days and I don't have too much time to spend on Apolyton.

      The Stade Toulousain has lost away from home against the Biarritz Olympique. Though I suppose that the defeat was anticipated by the staff it is once again a frustrating one as the Toulousains could have won if they had played a bit better. Among the positive things, Frédéric Michalack is proving he is one of the best halves in France and Jean-Baptiste Ellissalde is coming back in shape.

              England coach Andy Robinson has accused the Rugby Football Union of undermining his team's Six Nations preparations.

              Robinson said he had been "frustrated" the RFU had elected to stage the Powergen Cup semi-final last weekend during a Six Nations 'rest weekend'.

              England had to train without four Bath players on Tuesday after Sunday's cup tie against Gloucester.

              "We're preparing an international team and to not have the players we want is bitterly frustrating," he said.

              "I have played in a couple of Bath-Gloucester derbies and know how long it takes to recover from those games, especially when they go to extra-time."

              England had to train without Barkley, Grewcock, Stevens and Borthwick. Would any of them - apart from Stevens, who looks useful - have been missed? I'm starting a sweep. Who is he going to blame next for his own ineptitude?

                    Leicester and Betsen have had talks about him joining them. As a result, Lewis Moody, the Leicester flanker, whose contract is up for renewal, is talking about going somewhere else.

                      Hadn't heard that. It must be the crappy Labour Government in need of our tax revenue or something.
                      Those plonkers can never seem to add properly when it comes to a budget.

                      Besides which, Australia would probably sink without us.

                          None of them except the young Bok you mentioned would be missed at all.

                          How stupid is the man – in short time he has attacked the clubs, the IRB and it’s officials and now his own employers! All of whose good will he needs to be able to do his job.

                          Betsen himself contact Tigers to initiate discussions last week. It is far off being a done deal but it’s a distinct possibility.

                          Moody is playing the renewal game – threatening to leave as a negotiating ploy. He won’t leave – just you see.
