      Iain:

Do you think Man Utd will beat Deportivo? I think this year final will be Real Madrid-Deportivo. No room for Man Utd.

Yes, yes I do think United will beat Deportivo. I can't see us making the same mistakes like we did in the first group stage - and let's be honest, they were individual errors that cost us those two matches, particularly the home match. Even when Deportivo outplayed us in Spain, United still led until the last five minutes.

Obviously the Greeks would've been the best draw, but I don't think United can complain. The three main rivals to United are all in the other half. I'm not sure Liverpool will beat Leverkusen, but I'd back United to beat either.

Whoever wins the quarter-finals between United and Deportivo, and Madrid and Munich will reach the final. My money's on a Manchester-Madrid final. And there's only going to be one winner at Hampden Park. Like the 1999 final on Busby's birthday, Hampden is very much home turf for Ferguson. It's all too simple, isn't it?

          Go United!

I think that you are not taking the Deportivo as serious as you should, is without any doubt one of the bests teams in europe,
same level as Madrid and Manchester

if Deportivo keeps playing as they´ve done it until now they will win the champions without any doubt

and Barça against Panatinaikos, they are going to play the semifinals with a pathetic football,

Of course I take Deportivo seriously. They are an excellent side, and deserved to beat United earlier in the season. However, for all Deportivo's excellence earlier in the season, they still could only beat United with a late goal, or individual errors - and United's form was stuck in a rut at the time. Since then, we've improved immeasurably, and I think United are the better side, and will go through.

Yes... but why did Man Utd fail to beat Bayern twice in the second group stage? Would they beat Bayern shall both sides reach the finals?

Iain, you haven't noticed a thing: Deportivo is playing much better than before. Now, they are even more dangerous than in the first rounds.

United conceded a late equaliser in Munich... and they didn't need to win the match at Old Trafford. They never looked like losing it, though.

And what happened last time we played out two draws with Munich in the groups and then met them in the final?

                    jasev,

Deportivo is playing much better than before. Now, they are even more dangerous than in the first rounds
Yes, but so are United... they're practically unrecognisable from the team that Deportivo beat in the group stages.
