It looks like I missed the chat for about 1 hour.

Oh well, I'll just start my defense here.

The main reason why we pulled out of the European alliance, and later attacked the WCI is very simple.

When the UK sold us her American colonies, a huge amount of land that we payed very much, and that severly weaked our Economy.

The Mexican took this chance to attack us, althoug, thanks to their backstabbig of Louisiana, and the ready help received by our allies, we managed to win the war.

The US asked for some land, but as our allies didn't wanted to, we asked to be given back the land that we lost, and that we bought from England years ago.
This was granted to us, however, instead of giving us that land, you decided to form this WCI nation.


You can see the Orange territories in North America are the ones that we bought, and that were later occupied by Mexico.

THose territories were promised by you to be back to us after out victory against Mexico, however this was never done, as a big part of it instead was used to form the Independent nation of WCI
(as we can see from this map, which was created after the Mexican war)


As you can see the WCI territories (in purple) are mainly located in former US land.

This could not be accpeted by us, and we feel betrayted by our former allies, and decided to take back what was ours.

We hoped that you would have understand that, instead you declared war on us.

We accept your NAP, but would like to sign one with out a time limit. Depending on how my allies feel, you may be able to join the steam power project. It all depends on how France and Spain feel about it and if you will be friendly towards the European Alliance.

To Britain: Withdraw your support for the rebels and we will sign a full alliance with you to help protect you from futher aggression.

To USA and LOuisnana: I wish to point out to you that I was never formerly at war with you, so I have not a peace bargain to enter into.

To Spain and Russia: I know you have your hands full but if you have any spare troops I would like to crush this rebellion. Futhermore Russian immigration into the French Empire is not really common due to serfdom in Russia. However the few Russians that are in our territory have not at all been harmed as the rebels claimed. And they are using this as an attempt to break up our alliance.

To WIC: Our troops are now removed from your territitory.

To all nations: The Congress is now one vote for all. However a law still can be vetoed by the Emperor Napoleon Sheep.

Miltiary Manouvers against Libertia

The French Grande Armee has mobilsed for action against the rebels of the Germanic states. Napoleon Sheep is himself leading a legion of soldiers into the rebel held area. The Emperor has called for all nations to not recognise the rebel government and any assistance derived to them will be viewed as an act of war against the Empire of France and its subjects.

Already the area of Denmark has been pacified by advancing troops. This was perhaps the easiest part of the pacification though as The Danes were not in full revolt. The ringleaders in Denmark have been executed and the Danes are once again accomodating themselves to the benefits of French rule.

In the Atlantic Ocean the French Navy has tracked down and destroyed the two rebel ships. As Libertia has been completely wiped from the seas, a 100 storng ship fleet is blockading the rbel coastline to prevent any seabourne trade with nations that are against France.

The main thrust of the Grande Armee is however comming out of France itslef, and a secondary front has been opened up from Poland. Hamburg, Bonn, Berlin, Vienna and Budapest have all fallen, and Frankfurt, the rebel's capital has been burnt to the ground. At present the rebels have been pushed back to an area in Northern Austria and Bavaria, as the Prussian nobility seeing their folly has re-claimed their oaths of loyalty to Napoleon.

The choice is simple to the rebels. Either their soldiers surrender allowing themselves to have no more pain, or they will die trying to defy France. The French government is one of the most modern nations, and mopst wealthy. Its people are cared for. This rebellion will be punnished. Whatever the outcome, the leaders of this rebellion will be executed.

First my taxes are only at 30% of all wages earnt far lower than the British or Spanish. My armed forces are big becuase of my immense population. All other claims of LIbertia are lies and propaganda against the beneficial rule of France. In the case of British policy either join us or join them. Stop being a hypocrite. I remind evryone that any moves to help the Libertians will result in war with France, a war that no-one will be able to afford.

I find this hard to believ mainly becuase even with all 3 European Alliance members working on it it will take anothe 5 years to make a steam engine. I suggest you re-evalute this as this is not real enough
