This brings up an interesting issue: cloning. What do you guys think? Say (hypothetically) one day down the road human cloning becomes acceptable and feasible. Will homosexual couples (in the case of men, assuming they have a willing female host) have the same trouble getting a child through this manner as they do today in adoption?

Also, this raises the question of what happens if their offspring decides that they do *not* want to be a homosexual. Will these children be looked down upon as some homosexuals are by their parents? Will the homosexual DNA parents try to impose their sexual belief structure on the child? What are the moral implications of this?

Interesting questions... Interesting answers?

Human cloning is still a good ways off (animal cloning is still riddled with problems and monkey cloning hasn't gone well). However, I personally am FIRMLY opposed to cloning whole or near-whole Humans. We've all heard the horror scenario of 'people farms' where Human clones are fully grown except lacking a brain (or rather, a cortex...they still need the brain stem for life functions). I would only support selective organ growth - growing only those organs/parts that are needed when they are needed, not grown in batches.

To clone people for reproductive purposes would be a complete abomination in my eyes. That poor cloned child would be the only innocent in the whole dispicable affair. I don't care who does it, why they do it, or what their beliefs/lifestyles are. Gay/straight, Christian/Jew, Infertile or otherwise. No effing exceptions. Ever.
