My cousin in the NG was arrested in Tijauna for something stupid and fined craploads of cash for litering. But all in all he said it was a nice vacation.

If this happened to every person who littered in my country, it would be the cleanest place on earth. But police equate gringos=$$$. Shame on us.

hmm... i dunno... but check out Olaf's link on the first page... at around 18 seconds or so i definately see some sort of flashes being emitted from the building... some of them are right near where the tank shell hit too. Perhaps they arent camera flashes, but something else... maybe bulletes from machine gun fire hitting the building?

According to Western journos they didn't see any fire directed outwards from building (some were inside, some at other vantage points.

Besides, my gringo ass has lived down here for four years now, and I've never had a problem with any police, local, state or Federal.

A lot of gringos come here with so much attitude I'd like to take some of it out of them.

My brother went to a Mexican resort with his wife and another couple, spent two weeks (I think). Loved the relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, and good inexpensive Mexican food.

The last two days, Spring Break arrived at the resort.

Suddenly it was a hectic atmosphere, impersonal rushed people, and poor expensive "Mexican" food.
