Oh and fine I agree. Ill try to add a few dozen more winks to make my point.
What PM? I never sent you one. And I never change my mind. I ban first, and don't bother asking questions later, and I don't bother PMing people for bans, since they'll figure it out soon enough on their own, and usually just have to look at their last post.

I agree, it is very disheartening when they claim there to be no mistake... it only makes them look more incompetent in the end... *sigh*. They do this very often too, which just compounds it.

RPG's arent really AT guns. As there effectiveness against anything with thick armor is minimal. And actually it was orignally designed/concieved by the germans to take out flimsy allied tanks (panzerfaust)

But as with everything else (MiG-15, T-55, RPG, V2, AK-47) they just stole the prototypes and took credit for designing it.

Oh, you mean the end of the 3 week war, and the beginning of the multiple month occupation?

            Hurrah!

Oh, and everything from the day the war end will be seen as our fault, period., since we will now own the country.

did anyone else notice the similarity between the picture flashes coming from the building and the muzzle flash of a rifle? or was it just the footage i saw/ my imagination? Again, thats no excuse for these deaths, but it does make it more understandable in battle conditions.

We had an interesting news clip last night of a (French?) Journalist/Cameraman who accompanied a small section of a couple of dozen militia types w. small arms and a few RPG's in an (attempted) attack on a marine (?) position.
The guy made it out again, along with most of the irregulars (without getting anywhere near the allied position), but this was purely luck. Journalist or otherwise, being that close to the frontline doesn't give you any immunity whatsoever.

The hotel in question reportedly was being used for sniping, just from a floor well beneath the reporters in question. Couple that with the smoke from the oil fires and some silly Cameraman moving a lens that reflects sunlight at the wrong moment and you've got a surefire recipe for disaster.
Journalists need to get some perspective and realise that wars aren't fought for their convenience and that they're going to take losses along with everyone else.

You probably tried to post twice in less than 30 seconds. Flood control got you, not MtG.

Well an RPG killed at lease one of our Bradleys and took the thread off a M-1 that they could not wait for a repair team to repair it, so our guys destroyed it.

So you think it's allright for soldiers to shoot first and ask questions later but moderators can't do the same??? get your priorities straight, man.

                        • I read the forum TOS, its ironic im probably the only one. Its funny but nowhere did it say I could be banned for something so stupid.

Oh and thats a possibility. But Ive seen that one before. And that wasnt it.

                          • Oh and I have no doubt he would ban me. But I suggest if doing so makes him feel all powerful and gives him a woody and all. Maybe the TOS forum rules should be changed to "Do not fool with off topic mod"

                              OK, I didn't get the pop-up. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't.

It hasn't been ruined yet. And it's actually effective - most people either have common sense or can figure out the rules, some get off on testing the limits, or don't care. Instead of pleading or negotiating, I simply take control of the situation. It's very effective, because the ones who don't care don't bother me, and the ones who do suddenly see the light. Besides, it helps Ming and rah look better - they can do the good cop bad cop routine, while I do mean-ass southern Sheriff, or hard-ass Mexican federal police, depending on which side of the border I'm on. Either way, I make the good cop (rah) look like Manna from heaven, and the bad cop (Ming) look like a paragon of mercy.

                              3) Yes you did, I was restricted for a few seconds.

Forum glitch, database timeout, or someone else did then saw my warninglet - I thought about it, but I was too lazy to open the other screen and do a name search for you, so I didn't bother.

Maybe Im more important than you think?
