western european news are ok, more or less. never watched Fox news. CNN is weird. Russian TV: "Victorious Iraqi troopers have pushed the americans south, and an enormous Iraqi army besieges Tel-Aviv as well"

Even though the American media is corrupt and biased, the Russian media is just as bad if not worse... probably worse. Instead of a criminally controlled Communist government, Russia now has a criminally controlled Democracy (much worse). And since the media is run by this corrupt state, it can't be credible. At least the American media selectively reports and spins the truth; and there are credible news sources to balance out the bullsh1t (like NPR)... my suspicion is the Russian media just makes their sh1t up.To us, it is the BEAST.Comment

This is unbelievable. I think that Kremlin wants to create a huge enemocity towards the USA among it's citizens (that have actually been USA's greatest supporters after the fall of communism), and thus justify political steps against the USA.

Kremlin don't need anti-American propagandistic compaigns, because Russians already VERY MUCH anti-American people. It's true that after the fall of communism here was feelings that now Russians and Americans will be good freinds. I thought so about ten years ago. Yanks did their best to convince us that it isn't true, they, their actions made us anti-American.
During last few years Putin was trying to improve image of USA in eyes of Russians. He tried, he really did, wasted efforts imho.Comment
