You're still confusing immigrants with asylum seekers. It is not a requirement to be poor to be the subject of persecution.

The BNP is small enough to be just amusing, right? No danger of them actually attaining real power, is there?

They can influence. You don't need to hold power to be able to use it.

Absolutely, it's often the rich and well educated who are persecuted, especially if they try and speak out against a regime, or if the regime is worried about them trying to oust it.

They win the occasional city or district council seat, and usually only in the Ignorant North ( ).

The chances of them holding 'real power' are absolute zero, although their increasing prominence over the past few years is of concern (which is why Bods says that mainstream parties are coming under pressure to grab some of those votes by being tougher on immigrants).

So the main concern is the BNP dragging other parties to the right to make sure they don't lose votes?

In electoral terms is the BNP to the Tories what the Lib Dems are to Labour (in the sense that the BNP is right of the Tories and the LDs are left of Labor, and thus could steal votes from the more radical arms of the major parties)?

Someone needs to say to the idiots who support the BNP:
You are not fighting for your country. Your country doesn't want you.
You are not fighting for our beliefs. Our beliefs have nothing to do with oppressing people who have done nothing wrong.
You are not fighting for your people. Your people do not want you here and want nothing to do with you.
                In short, **** off.
"Love the earth and sun and animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown . . . reexamine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency" - Walt Whitman

I'd be willing to bet that your average immigrant to the UK is more economically productive than your average BNP thug.

Three cheers to Boddingtons , often a lone voice in defending the rights of the majority.

BNP yes some of them may be a bunch of evil bastards im not denying it but if they stand here in MK ill be voting for them. Its about time the liberal politically correct do gooders crawled back under my big fat arse.

Last I hear the national lottery has approved two packages totaling over £1m for a drop in centre for asylum seekers and another as a councilling centre for gay men.

I say sod em, better giving the money to childrens hospitals, and before you say it........ Yes my opinion would be a preference to my own kind as im looking after my own self interest.

                    • When you say "some of them may be a bunch of evil bastards" you do realise that you're referring to the majority of their National Executive? I have the figures and their criminal records.

The alternative to having drop-in centres for asylum seekers is to have them on your streets.

The BNP have almost no effect on politics or policy of the main parties (they get such a small percentage of the vote). My main concern is that if they gain any political recognition (e.g get a councillor elected or nearly elected) they use it as a platform to promote social tension and racial violence.

No, the alternative is deporting them back to the countries they came from originally, at their cost. First they'll have to work in sweatshops in Britain in order to pay for their plane ticket.

Could be a good little earner for us really.

And if they come via the Channel Tunnel, back to France.

And then establish a proper immigration system where we can take the cream of developing nations' talent, leaving them in the **** even more.
