A political map of montana would basically be all Republican except for an island of Democrats in Missoula (the most liberal city in the state). Though I don't think the approval ratings for our republican governor could get much lower (in the low 30s with the last poll).
There seems to be a growing sentiment that the Republicans are screwing up the state since they've had control of the government for the past decade and a half.Comment

If I was ameican I would vote for a Democrat who supported free trade and wasn't too hung up on subsidising every industry in his area.Space is big.
