    It's Banana 2, Sharpton 1, everybody else 0

I voted for Sharpton because he's less comprehensible than Bush.

John Kerry, no bout adoubt it.

As is my usual custom, I'll probably vote Kerry in primaries, in an attempt to have 2 viable candidates in general election.

I clicked Wes Clark as the person with the best shot at beating Bush (not necessarily the best president or best Democratic candidate.) His advantage is no one has the slightest idea what his positions are on anything--he doesn't have a political record to try to defend.

Carol Moseley Braun is a joke. The only reason she's even running is so she can continue to solicit campaign contribution which can be used to help maintain the standard of living that she became accustomed too while she was in Congress. She is slime and wouldn't even carry her own neighborhood. Republicans would drool over the oportunity to run against her.

Dean is a straight-shooter and has some interesting ideas. But Bush would absolutely mull Dean.

John Kerry seems like an equivicator and is all around boring. But he has the best chance of beating Bush.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

So, no third or forth party candidate. Down with the two party system!

Is there a third party this time round?

Is this going to be a contest to win the election or to not lose it?

I ask because it seems (from this side of the Atlantic) that the Democrats either can't find a really good candidate or that any potentially serious Democrat candidates have decided to pass this time and wait for another four years.
