I'm glade Urban Dullard has decided to go away. I got so tired of his "you haven't proved 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt that Saddam destroyed all of his chemical weapons like the good saint he is... So he must not have any". Why is it even Chirac admites Saddam has chemical weapons but Urban Dullard thinks he's prevy to more info then the heads of state of all the major western democracies?

You don't need to spam, Kramerman; just talk about the topic.

For example, I don't think the fact that this is a clear material breach will mean much; the French and others already know that Iraq is in material breach, but won't approve a second resolution anyway. I think this discovery is far more important in that it will give the undecideds an easy way to come over to the US side. They are probably sorely tempted already and this just gives them something to point to as a justification for their actions. It should be interesting...

most of my friends are in the undecided camp. On one hand, i present such stuff as this, and on the other, the leftist (i am NOT a tighty righty, mind you) cess pool that is our environment takes on a very similar mind set as UR. One girl I knew went to a local community college to a peace ralley last week. When the news team asked her why she was anti war, her response was," *in stoned voice* uh... 'cause... 'cause war is bad, man... its just bad..." or somethn like that.

It will change absolutely ones mind. Nobody cares if a smoking gun is found or not. You guys are being just as silly as UR. The only reason you find this interesting is so that you can say, "see he has WoMD!" Everyone already knows he does (except UR, I'm not sure).

What the hell does this drone discovery have to do with WMD? I certainly never claimed that it did...

This article is interesting because of the unknowns. Why did Blix bury this important discovery in his report? What effect will this discovery have on the undecided members of the Security Council? Will the "smoking gun" people have wanted for so long actually manage to get the US Security Council approval?

If you don't find these questions interesting, that's fine. No one cares if you participate in the discussion anyway...

I was merely pointing out this whole crying foul business is really much ado about nothing. Blix and lads didn't mention it because they determined that the drones is not a weapon platform, as MtG pointed out.

That's why I said I wasn't sure. The prowar folks think that you are saying that Saddam has not been trying to obtain chemical weapons. I didn't know.
