Hey Ramo--my brother, sister and best friend from high school are all Gauchos.

Gauchos... I haven't heard that in a very long time. That brings back memories. I really wish I got to stay there. Beautiful weather, right between the ocean and mountains, amazing food (best Thai food short of going to Thailand)... Oh well, there's always grad school.

Ramo: When and where did you live in Santa Barbara? I went to college in SB and lived in Isla Vista for four years.

I lived there from '85 (right after I was born) to around '95, and I lived near Milpas (if that means anything ). A couple miles from the beach IIRC.
