I think we've come to the root of the problem: your misunderstanding of the word "fact".

Others use it to denote a piece of information not open to reasonable doubt. You use it to denote an opinion held by yourself. I'll bear that in mind in the future.

an article in the Chronicle today stated that Halliburton is going to get a contract to start drilling oil in Iraq as an emergency measure to keep the oil flowing. Cheney worked at Halliburton before he became VP. Looks like this war is about oil after all.
