I think they didn't want to teach anything. They just thought it was a fun game. But exactly because of that it's not harmless. Beside the fact that such a game is highly insensible, it's also ignorant and unreflected, two major reasons why people are often willing to accept propaganda. The essence of the game is: "It might be fun to chase jews" or you might to feel good with a swastika on your arm...
Period.

One word to my European friends: It's not at all enough to point to the Americans and ignore that we have a rich and dangerous racist history. Don't defend such behavior or make it seem that this is just an isolated example. We're not immune, we don't have the perfect society, we do have problems.

One word to DD and the gang: Don't rejoice about such facts. You now get stories like these over the media in order to get an image of a all in all corrupted Europe that "should the f*ck shut up, because they don't have the moral integrity" It seems to be presented to you now massively because many over here oppose America's politics. Let me say it clearly: No way I will now feel guilty and acknowledge America's moral superiority.
This story is bad in itself but doesn't discreditate the stance against war in Iraq or other criticism against the US.
DD and others on page 1 of this thread again made fun that someone would blame America for such things happening, but no one does, sorry guys. The story's bad - period.
