Yeah, i was wondering some things in regard to that myself.

      I like monster truck rallies.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Che's got family in Chicago, IIRC.
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

I think that Southern cultural identity has developed so because they have been at odds politically with the rest of America since the revolution. Cultural unity encourages regional identity. Regional identity encourages people within the culture to conform to the beliefs of the majority or the beliefs or the elite.

I could, and very well maybe, completely wrong here, as I have not studied this at all. It's just an idea.

I beg to disagree. We have always been pleased to allow our women to assume the top position and express their passions forcefully.

Really? So when law school career services recommend that women where skirts instead of pantsuits in order not to offend those lawyers that are the more 'traditional' that indicates to you that the South gives the same rights to women as the North?

                  I was serious.

SRV is one of my favorite musicians. Mint julep is delicious and refreshing. "Yall" characterizes the southern attitude, the laid back style etc... and i like that also.

The list isn't exhaustive and i'm not saying these three things are the best about southern culture. But i like these better than, say, the Bible belt.

If you live by the standards of 'Southern Culture', the answer is Yes.
Ha! In my experience the southern family is more likely to be a two or even three job family than its northern counterpart!

                        Dah-da-DAH!

Honestly, Imran, only someone with no perspective can take fashion advice and turn it into the biggest case of discrimination in the history of the Republic.

And you forgot to spell it "womyn"... which is an improvement over a few months ago. WTG!! You're making progress!

Btw, my wife doesn't have a career*. Oppression just runs in my genes, I guess.

*You see, raising a child is EASY. It takes NO effort at all, and to even imply that what she does is honorable or needed is to cast aspersions on all good working women everywhere.

Hmmm. Given the size of the frontal package, my Levi's are always o' pressin' on me!
